Seventy years ago, on Abdullah Al-Salem Street in Kuwait City, Al-Batel Watches was born during a transitional phase in Kuwait, between tradition and modernity. This lively street was a hub for young Kuwaiti business. The company began its journey as a small shop of wristwatches, wall clocks, and alarm clocks. Mr.Mohammad Abdullah Al-Batel, may God have mercy on him, decided to take Al-Batel forward in pursuit of his great ambitions, striving to secure a top position among his competitors. As a result, Al-Batel Group became the exclusive representative of some of Switzerland’s most prestigious watch brands. Through the years,the company has evolved alongside the changing times. The 1960s brought prosperity and cultural growth, the 1970s introduced romance and elegance, the 1980s were marked by Arab identity and resilience, and the 1990s were a time of hardship and perseverance. The new century ushered in an era of development and technology. Al-Batel Group has continued to withstand the test of time, remaining loyal to its founder’s vision. Today, we are reviving the founder’s passion, which carries with it the memories of the past and his originality, with a vast collection of vintage watches that have refused to fade with the passage of time.
